Important — User Instructions

The bones of these courses were put together by AI. We fed it all the important manuals, contracts and Mail Carrier postal documents that we could get our hands on. As good as AI has gotten, it still hallucinates and/or gets things totally wrong. So, we are editing and sprucing it up daily, and you can help! In fact, this a crowd-sourced project. All throughout the site are Comment Boxes for you to offer correction edits; your own instructive paragraphs; short stories that contribute to understanding of the courses; helpful photos or illustrations; or whatever helps educate and unify our Mail Carrier family.

The original goal of this website was to create a training system for new Mail Carriers, to help them navigate their new careers in the Postal Service. I worked with my friend, who is an Artificial Intelligence Pro to make the beginnings of the step-by-step training website.

But as I listened to all of the Mail Carrier Podcasters and realized that most of their episodes would be more realistic and helpful and entertaining than most AI curriculum, I thought that we could have a centralized place to organize and energize our learning systems, a kind of “continuing education” — so that we constantly improve our lives for ALL Mail Carriers, not just the new ones. On these courses, you will hear some familiar podcast voices like Corey Walton, Alan Gegax, and Joshua Shrum to name a few. You will be impressed by Molly Hunter’s colorful and fun poster that gives new Carriers a visual, daily checklist. So now the goal is to create a living, breathing, constantly improving community together and for all of us to get really smart about all aspects of our jobs, our rights and our Union. So, my friends….
